Meeting Death

A man walks his day as any other.

He Sleeps.

Eats.

Goes to work.

Comes home.

Meets up with his children plays with them. Speaks with his wife about his day.

Helps his kids with their homework from school.

Eats dinner.

Tells his wife he loves her, and repeats the same process again the next day.

Until one day he suddenly collapse at work, and goes to the hospital. He wakes up in the recovery room the doctors say he's okay and that he can go home. He gets home meets his wife tells her what happened, and goes to sleep and then wakes up the following morning to go work. His wife tells him to stay home for today it might have stress and this maybe a warning to tell him to slow down, but he goes to work away. Within an hour at work he feels dizzy, and decided to sit down for a minute and he sees someone walking toward him and this person say's:

Death: "hey young man what's the problem" .(and he look young himself)

Man: "nothing really I'm just tried."

Death: "oh really. Well may I ask what's the problem."

Man: "you seem okay so I'll tell you what happened." (He told the guy what happened)

Death: well okay I see what's going on well what will you do. You can stop and rest.

Man: "no I can't do that. I have to work. I have to feed my family, I have, to I have to."

Death: "okay all I here is I have to and that's it. But what do you need to do?"

Man: .....? (Silence)

Death: "well do you know."

Man: "no I don't"

Death: "exactly! That's collateral beauty."

Man: "huh? What does that mean?"

Death: "there is beauty in what you don't know, because it inspires what you can know, and effect everything all around you."

Man: "huh?"

Death: "life comes in a collateral way. Who would have known this would happen to you now of all time just to tell you to sit down relax and enjoy time with family."

"Who would have known that I would be here to tell you just that, so that you may have to rethink your plans, and that this time in your life is over and a knew start is about to begin."

"Who would have known the possibility of words to mean a collateral way of rethinking life's moments for you to see that their is more beyond where you are that will reflect the world from where you are."

"And that's the beauty of collateral beauty." "What do you say that."

Man: "I would say that is deep."

Death: "it is. Is it. And that's what God wants to tell you now, and he sent a messenger like myself to tell you this now, but in the end it is your chose. Go home for today. Heed your wife's words, and come back with a fresh start to be wiser and looking beyond where you are."

"Seek the future not where you are now and see what's out there for you."

Man: (looking confuse he says) "okay"

Death:" good son. Okay I got go I will be seeing you soon."

The man gets out of the chair and gets a phone call from his doctor about some urgent news, so he rushes to the hospital and the doctor tells him he has cancer but they want to have a second look.

So they tested him and realize the cancer was gone and told him "how can this happen we just saw it spread through your body like a wildfire and now it's gone what is this.

So the man left the hospital and went home and met his wife and kids and said I want take some time off. Let's do something outside the box of what we normally do everyday.

This story means to me that God may stop you to think about where you are now, and wants you to speak with him about where he wants you to go next, because you can not move forward standing still. And he may put you through a tramatic moment so you can stop listening to the disturbance around you, so you can here his voice speak to you.

Jesus said to us in John: 11:25

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

So let's take time out of our day to stop and listen because it will save us from standing still and help us move forward.

Walking the path of life is hard, but worth living. Rejection is the plague of life and very hurtful to many, but if it does not happen you will never learn the feeling. Painful paths and painful walks is necessary, and out of your control. Never forget these painful lessons are not meant to destroy you but to teach you what's in the world. Not everyone is going to be there for you. Not everyone is going to like you. Not everyone is your friend. But that is okay because God loves you and will never leave you nor forsake you. When everyone is against you and you only have God that's when we realize that God is all we need. The vision is like a blur to your future. you can not really see the whole path, but it takes faith to walk a path you can not fully see. The vision to fully open your eyes in a dark path takes trust in God when the world is against your light. Sometimes your best friends and family are not going to walk with you, and sometimes they might even be against you when you walk out your dark path. Also sometimes when we reach the Goal of our vision those that hated us want to be our friends, and we are being tested to hate them or forgive and love them from who and where they are. The vision shows so much of us that lives in a world of sin that our light shines on the darkness to walk out a path for us to show, and encourage others that they can do it to. So when you make it to the top bring another, and encourage that person or persons to do the same. Now the real question is do you wish to walk it. That's the vision.

Being the flower that blooms throughout the seasons is great just like the others. But the one that has a tough time to bloom is the one people see has the most mistakes and problems. Being the one to bloom within those hard times no one can imagine to see as possible. It's like a rose that grows in the concrete it will go through problems. To bloom within those times of adversity is not impossible. Impossible is not impossible. To bloom late is so great and makes you ready to with stand what others see as so hard. The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of them all. God bless.
